Welcome to the Holiness Tabernacle Women’s Department! Our aim is to empower the women of God to discover ways to improve their lives both naturally and spiritually.
Activities & Events
Women’s Wellness: Join us for our monthly fellowship, every second Saturday morning from 8:00-9:30 a.m. on Zoom as we discuss issues pertinent to women today and develop strategies to experience wellness of body, mind, and soul in the twenty-first century.
Women in Ministry: On the third Thursday of each month, the Women’s Department is in charge of the service. Come delve into the Word of God with us as we discover and learn about God’s leading ladies who made an impact in the lives of many. Through lessons, skits, games and other fun activities, we’ll expound on the Word of God in creative ways.
Women’s Weekend: The 2022 Women’s Weekend will take place July 16-17 with guest speaker, Mother Lee Van Zandt COGIC World Missions Assistant Elect Lady. Our Saturday Ladies’ Tea and Sunday service are designed to minister to the women of Holiness Tabernacle and reach out to women.
Annual Retreat Weekend: The 2022 Women’s Retreat will take place August 12-13 at the Wyndham Resorts in Williamsburg, Virginia. Let’s leave the men at home and enjoy a weekend of shopping, fun activities, laughter, workshops, good food and more with our sisters in Christ!
Department of Women
First Lady Vivian Pruitte: Evangelist Missionary Vivian Pruitte is the First Lady of Holiness Tabernacle COGIC. Visit her First Lady’s Blog the first of each month, where this year she will do a YouTube video segment entitled “Let’s Talk!”
Mother’s Board: The Mother’s Board oversees the activities of the Women’s Department and serves as the arms of the Pastor to aide in the development of women.
Missionaries: We provide training for licensed and aspiring missionaries.
