Eleven years ago, God impressed upon the heart of Elder Eddie B Pruitte, Jr. to step out on faith, follow His instruction, and start Holiness Tabernacle Church of God in Christ. On February 22, 1998, Pastor Pruitte heeded the call of the Lord. It was evident in the early stages of HTC that God ordained this ministry and would continually bless Pastor Pruitte for his faithfulness, as He blessed the church with steady growth. From the humble beginnings in his living room to the new worship center in Woodbridge, VA, God has truly ordered the steps of our Pastor.
In October (4th, 11th, and 23rd) 2009, we will be honoring this great man of God for his faithful service, his wonderful leadership, and his obedience to God. Our theme is “The Servant’s Heritage. . . This Is For My Good!” Our theme scripture is Isaiah 54:17, which is listed above. For those that are not able to attend, we would like to extend to you the opportunity to play a vital role during this celebration by sending a monetary gift of love to Pastor Pruitte.
Pastor Pruitte is truly deserving of “The Servant’s Heritage” as he has followed Christ, who is our chief example of holiness. Pastor Pruitte has been a Good Shepherd. He has been a Mighty Counselor. Pastor Pruitte has been Present Help in the time of trouble. He preaches in season and out of season, and we love him dearly. He’s a pastor worthy to be celebrated and we wait in anticipation for the celebration to begin!
