Oh how I longed to be in perfect peace every day of my life! Lord, how do I wake up and just have a wonderful day, all day, every day? I asked myself this question many times as my day had already begun to go wrong. The world would determine how my day would go. Sometimes, even before I got up out of bed, my mind was made up that this was not going to be a good day for me or even the people I came in contact with. We all know the old saying, "misery loves company."
Well, one day I made up my mind to choose better company. The company I now choose to keep is the one you could introduce to everyone and never be embarrassed or wonder if they would let you down. My company is there for me no matter what time of day it is. I learned to seek His face early in the morning and JESUS now determines my day! Seek Him early and He will make your day!
O GOD, thou art my GOD; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; Psalm 63:1
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3
