Reaching Out – HTC Missions’ Annual Day

The Missions' Department of Holiness Tabernacle Church Of God In Christ will be hosting their Third Annual Day on September 18th, 2011, at 5:00 PM.  The guest speaker will be Elder Ray Satterfield, pastor of Save A Life Church Of God In Christ.

The Theme is "Reaching Out" Psalm 41:1- Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

All Donations collected will go to help support Home & Foreign Missions.

Elder Ray SatterfieldAbout Our Guest Speaker:

Elder Ray Satterfield serves as the Pastor and Founder of Save A Life Church Of God In Christ, established in 2004, in Sterling, Virginia.

Born in Washington, D.C., Elder Satterfield was raised in both the District and in Durham, North Carolina. As an adult, he moved permanently to the DC-metro area and currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, Evangelist Missionary Helen Satterfield.

Elder Satterfield joined Gethsemane COGIC in 1983 under the leadership of Supt. L.C. Coles, Jr.  Elder Satterfield is godly proud to have served with the Historic First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Virginia under the leadership of Bishop Ted Thomas for 27 years. 

An active church member, Elder Satterfield has held several positions in the church including serving as the Church Transportation Coordinator, a member of the Adult and Men’s choir, working with the Youth Department, serving on the Deacon’s Board, Sunday School Superintendent, Finance Committee and Trustee, C.H. Mason student under the tutelage of Mother Short, and AIM President for the Great Northern District. No task is too great or small for Elder Satterfield who humbly works in the Lord’s vineyard.

Elder Satterfield and his wife have two sons, Kevin and Duane, one daughter, Shayla, and one grandson, Jalen.
