1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” The Bible says you can’t fear and be in perfect love.
Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” Here the Bible says you don’t have to be afraid. God is with you and will not fail you. We have to stay strong and we have to only fear God.
Joshua 1:9 says, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Here God is telling Joshua to go and take the Israelites to the promise land. He tells Joshua not to be afraid because God will be with him. You must have faith to not fear.
1 Corinthians 16:13, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong”. Isaiah 41:10, the Bible says, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
In the Bible, there are many verses that talk about faith, being strong and not being afraid. Read some of these verses and apply them to your life.
