Good Shepherd’s Night at the 91st Annual State Worker’s Meeting

Holiness Tabernacle Church Of God In Christ recognized Pastor Eddie B Pruitte, Jr. on Good Shepherd’s night at the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Virginia’s 91st Annual Worker’s Meeting on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.

Held at the Crowne Plaza Downtown hotel in Richmond, Va., Good Shepherd’s Night is purposefully set aside for each church to publically honor their pastor. In the months leading up to this special night, the Pastor’s Aide Committee and the entire Holiness Tabernacle family sacrificially gave in order to be a blessing to Pastor Pruitte, and their efforts paid off. The church retained second place among all the churches in the State for the offering they gave.

Elder Elton Amos, pastor of Old Landmark Church Of God In Christ in Fort Wayne, Ind., brought a mighty word from God entitled, Make Some Noise. Elder Amos stated that we are all peculiar and unique. “Our finger prints are different,” he stated. “Our voice, testimony and eyes are different.”

He added that total praise is using all of your unique features and that there is no such thing as silent praise. “You can make noise anywhere the devil raises his head,” he declared. “And if you want deliverance, to be saved, make some noise.”

The success of Good Shepherd’s night is only one illustration of the awesome and powerful move of God during the entire week of the Worker’s Meeting. Looking ahead to next year, the church is excited and anticipates the 92nd Jurisdictional Worker’s Meeting to go even higher.
