Praise The Lord – January 2K15 WOTM

By Deacon D. Moses

PRAISE THE LORD! You ought to want to praise Him right now.

Halleluiah, halleluiah, halleluiah!

If you need something to praise Him for, think about all He has done for you. If you can't,  just think about  all  He  did  for  you  today – or just  praise  Him   because  He  loves  you, or  because He  woke  you  up  this   morning. You do know that you did not wake up all by yourself, right?  We by ourselves have no power of our own. It is  because  of  Jesus Christ, God  whispered  in your  ear  and woke you  up  today. Get glad in your hearts today, and bless and praise God right now.

Praise The LordWonderful Savior! Halleluiah, halleluiah, halleluiah! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! Glory to God! Halleluiah Jesus!

I  want  you  to  understand  that  it  is  your   praise that  will  set  you  free – free  to  see  and free   to  feel  and acknowledge the move of  God. The  Word of  God  says  in Psalm  100: 4 “Enter  into  his  gates with  thanksgiving  and  into  his  courts  with   praise: be  thankful  unto  him  and  bless  his   name.”  This means we should always enter into the Lord’s house with praise on our lips. God wants us come into the house of prayer with expectation that He is going to meet us there as soon as we enter praising Him. Oh yes, praise is the answer.

Halleluiah, Jesus! Halleluiah! Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!”

Stand up with a joy in your heart.  As a matter of fact, help the one next to you stand up and begin to praise God. Do this because you desire to be ushered into the presence of God.

 Halleluiah, halleluiah, halleluiah!

I want you to remember what God did for you and what He’s doing even now for you. Give Him thanks, and reverence who God is and what He can do. If you pray and praise God, you will hear from heaven. If you study the Word, go to Sunday school, Bible study and pastoral counseling, I am certain these will help you hear from heaven. Hebrews 12:2 says, “looking on to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…” He knows your expected end. Let Him get the glory out of your life.

Halleluiah, halleluiah, halleluiah! Thank you Jesus!

Romans 5:1 says “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” We need to stop trying to have man justify our lives by seeking approval from man on how we should live our lives. We need to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. We can only get approval from God.

Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus! Halleluiah, halleluiah!

I love Jesus so much.  I make every effort   to communicate with, to praise Him, to learn more about him, to testify of His greatness, and teach others about Him.  I desire to walk in the will of God at all times. Sometimes we will make sacrifices; God will not have to ask us to do it.  The Lord will always honor your sacrifices. I have a part-time job and  I  dock  myself  15 minutes so  I  can arrive at church on time no matter what. I choose to use  my  free  time  to  help out  at  the church.

I love my Pastor. He  is the watcher of my soul, he  teaches  me, he  prays  for me, and feeds the church  with what  God gives him. I love following my Pastor as he follows Christ.  I am confident that with the teaching of my Pastor, I will one day make it into heaven. Until next time, may the Lord keep you under His mighty wing!
