If I Could Study One Subject in School That Isn’t Offered…

If I could take one class in school that is not currently offered to me, I would take a culinary class. I think everyone should have some type of cooking experience even if it is just learning how to make something simple; it could be helpful later on in the future. Also, I think it is interesting to try and learn new things to cook. And I think it is going to help me in my future when I move out of my parents’ house and am on my own.

Currently the school I attend offers many necessary classes such math, science, history, Bible, apologetics, Spanish, and choir. These are good classes to have when it comes to furthering my education, but a culinary class would be great to have as a day to day skill.

Think about it- when the widow woman made that bread for the prophet Elijah during the famine, she wasn’t thinking about math, science, or Spanish. She needed to know how to cook. Or how about the Israelites first Passover? God gave Moses very specific instructions for the people on how to prepare the lamb, the unleavened bread, and the herbs.

Knowing how to cook may not seem important as our main studies in school, but in more ways than one, it can be very beneficial to one’s everyday life.
