Blessed and Grateful

My name is Missionary Andrea Mabry and I’ve got a testimony! I have so many testimonies; however, I will share this one so let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable unto God for He delivered, loved, redeemed, and upheld me; therefore, I am eternally grateful.  

I was a runner and had to remind myself that running was fine as long as I was traveling in the right direction. When I was hurt and/or in despair, I ran. When I felt the weight, momentous task, and a calling that I thought I could not bear, I ran.  

Over the seasons of life, the Lord brought me to Isaiah 43. In January 2006, this was for me and He continues to assure me that it still applies.

But now thus said the Lord who spoke you into existence and shaped you, fear not and lose the anxiety. There is no need to be afraid.  For I have recovered, rescued, and set you free. I have called thee by thy name. I was very specific and am acquainted with all your ways.  I know your down sitting and uprising. I know your thoughts before you think them. You are MINE and I claimed you.  

Water and fire denote calamity because one overwhelms and the other consumes.  

When you pass through the water, I will be there. I will never leave nor forsake you and am right by your side. Don’t give up, stay in the race, and keep the faith! I will keep the water from overflowing. When the water rises like a flood and the dam breaks, it will not drown you.  

When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned. You may feel the intensity, observe the flame, know the temperature is elevated, but you will not be charred nor consumed; neither shall the flame kindle upon you.  

Honor, seek, and serve me only. I am the HOLY ONE. I am the KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS. 

Don’t waste your time reflecting on the past, the old man, but embrace the new 

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” Man may reflect on your past, your failures, and not desire to see you to succeed, but in whom do you believe. I have claimed you. If you seek and believe me, the possibilities in our life are endless. 

Watch and trust Me! Open your heart, mind and hear from me. I will do exactly what I said – a new thing.  I will make the path and sustain you in the wilderness. When you feel alone, remember I have protected and surrounded you.  You are mine so praise me in the morning, noonday, and night. I called you out of darkness into my marvelous light.  

Every time, I willfully neglected to recognize who I belonged to by being disobedient, ignoring and/or changing the assignment, I denied Him just like Peter. When I looked back, He was there all the time. He patiently waited with outstretched arms to heal, deliver and redeem, always reminding that His love was unconditional. Even when I was undeserving and felt unworthy of His love, He supplied all of my needs.  

I am forever grateful because the blood of Jesus that carries a DNA helix that no man can ever replicate canceled my debt in hell and relocated my home toward heaven. I am pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling. In the supernatural realm, He reached down and rescued me. Therefore, I know the blood will never lose its power.  

The word reminds me that the Lord is the strength of my life and of whom shall I be afraid. However, I become afraid even knowing He hasn’t given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.  He reminds me that fear it not in His DNA, but it is the shadow of death that comes to deceive in his manipulative manner to destroy. I am grateful because He further reminds me to stop putting Him in a box. He is the King of the world and victory is mine. Victory today is mine.  

He never said I would be exempt from circumstances or the cares of this life. He did say if I am called by His name and would humble myself, pray, seek His face, and turn from my wicked ways, He would hear from heaven, forgive my sins and heal the land. He did promise to always love; never leave nor forsake; protect because no weapon formed would prosper; comfort because weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning; supply all of my needs; heal, physically and spiritually; forgive, restore, and so much more. I am grateful because He is doing just what He promised. I am saved and know that I am. I healed by His power divine. 

My testimony is summed up in Isaiah 43: I have been redeemed and called unto righteousness. He restored my soul and supplied my every need. Look where He brought me from – He brought me out of darkness into the marvelous light. The word remains everlasting to everlasting because He is faithful as promised. I am grateful for this is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice because He has done great things.  

I am redeemed, saved, and was purchased with a blood price. I am grateful because He changed my whole life. Every day, there is the newness of life so put the word “new” in front of each of the following words beginnings, blank canvas, blueprint, day, design, direction, favor, fresh start, grace, mercy, pattern, path, roadmap, slate, etc. that describes a gift that He gave unto us today. And that’s my testimony!
