God is in Control

My name is Aspiring Missionary Leslie Taylor and I’ve got a testimony! I want to thank God for being God in my life. I know Him as a righteous God, full of grace and mercy. He is a faithful God, the God that never changes (Hebrews 13:8). He is Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. God has been in control since the creation of time. 

I can say that God has always been there for me and my family. He has brought us through so many trials and difficult situation, even when at the time I did not realize that He was in the mist of it all, good and bad. At times I felt like giving up and throwing it all in, but God said not yet – just hold a little while longer! God was letting me know that He was in control. 

Years ago, I was in a car accident. I hit a tree and the car flipped over on the driver side and I had two children in the back seat. I still cannot recall how I managed to climb out of the driver seat, get out of the car, and get the two children out of the car on to the sidewalk – and did not faint until ambulance showed up on the scene.  No one was hurt! God has been there the whole time. 

God is still good. In late December of 2020 I had been traveling on I-95 going back and forth to work, not knowing that one of my tires was loose. On Tuesday, December 29, while still traveling on I-95 leaving work there was a loud noise coming for the tire. I thought that I had a flat tire, so I took the parkway exit, but that was not the case so I made it home. The next day my husband found out that one of bolts had fallen off. If the enemy had his way, I would not be here to see 2021.  

God has given me insight to see that even through a pandemic only He can allow anything to take place for all to see – including believers – who He really is (I AM THAT I AM). And that’s my testimony!
