Tales of a Superhero

While exploring your grandfather’s attic, you discover a superhero costume complete with mask and cape. You try it on-and it fit perfectly! What happens when you put on the costume? What powers would you have? How would you use this power to help someone else? Jesus is very powerful! How did He use His power to help others in the Bible?

When I put the costume on my super power is super speed. For one, if I have super speed and someone’s house catches on fire, and they have loved ones or pets in the house and the house was getting ready to collapse. I could swoop in and save them without a sweat. Then whenever I am about to miss the bus all I have to say is, “Super speed, activate!” so I can either run to school or run to the bus just in time. They would call me “Speed of Light” (S.O.L. for short).

I also would have the ability to fly, and I would use that to help my family save money when we go out of town and have to take an airplane. I would just say, “Hop on my back!” They would call me Jet Boy (or J.B. for short).

In the Bible, one way Jesus helped others was by healing the sick people and giving the ability to see to the blind people.

The End
