April is my favorite month mostly because it’s my birthday month. My birthday is April 6; the day God decided for my mom to give birth to me. When I was living in Maryland, I met my friend Simone. She’s a year younger than me but our birthdays are on the same day. I don’t know what I am going to do for my birthday this year. I am glad my birthday falls on a Friday, although my grandparents are going away for the weekend with the church.
Another reason I love April is because flowers start blooming, grass begins to turn green again, and the leaves on the trees start to grow back. It’s amazing what God can do! I am grateful that God put me on this earth. I don’t know what his plan is for me, but one thing's for sure; I am happy I am living with my grandparents, because since I started going to church I began to learn a lot more about God. I pray that God blesses me with the things that I need. God is great and God is good! – Melani
