Holiness Tabernacle Church of God In Christ was one of four churches out of 60 recognized by the First Jurisdiction of Virginia prelate, Bishop Ted Thomas, at the One Day Gospel Feast on January 29 for its contributions to Haiti, which was ravaged by a major earthquake in 2010. Holiness Tabernacle’s donations, along with New Community, Saint Stephens and “Yeshua” went on to provide support to the people and believers in Haiti. When recalling the moment he had received the award, Pastor Pruitte remarked, “I am godly proud that we were recognized by our presiding Bishop.”
The award, a gold medallion with the COGIC seal etched upon the surface, serves as a bright reminder of HTC’s commitment to missions in Woodbridge, the United States and the ends of the earth.
